NPF gala event materials collection

Invitation, program + signs freelance design work for the National Psoriasis Foundation

Problem:

NPF (National Psoriasis Foundation) wanted a suite of branded print + digital materials for their Commit to Cure Gala. The materials needed to appeal to affluent New Yorkers, and adhere to NPF brand guidelines (I developed their brand style earlier in my career.)

MY ROLE:
Concepting, ideation, design layout, photo editing, project management, final production.

COLLABORATIONS:
NPF staff and the New York community event manager, feedback from medical chairs, and board members; print vendors.

CHALLENGES:
Working remotely with my client; including and organizing donor names; pleasing a prominent stakeholder. Managing a four-month project with several milestones.

DELIVERABLES:
Save-the-Date cards, invitations, conference program with donor-created ads, event signs, graphics for the NPF website, event PPT presentation.

RESULTS:
The gala exceeded fundraising goals, and our hard-to-please stakeholder gave additional money on the evening of the event.

Design notes

I chose cover paper with a slight pearlescent sheen to add richness to the printed book. The sponsor pages (third slide) show examples of ads that I created for contributing donors. The NPF ad on the right shows an example of a “house” ad that I created within their brand guidelines.

Three sample 2’x3’ signs that I created for the event space. Signs were needed for way-finding, recognition, and general information.
